Nikita Bencharov Homestead

For more than ten years Nikita and Natasha Bencharovs have hosted guests from all over the world at their homestead. They seek to lavish care and attention upon their guests.
The Bencharovs offer accommodation in typical Russian wooden houses. Unless one would prefer your own room, people tend to stay in twin rooms. There are two-room houses as well as houses for larger groups. The houses are usually heated with traditional stoves (with firewood) and equipped with dry closets and wash-stands. Some houses have banya or shower cabins inside. Accommodation at the neighbouring houses can be arranged at request or if the homestead is full. All families there are very friendly and welcome tourists. The masters of these houses live in a separate house so one can have his or her own space.
Leisure and meals are also organized by Nikita and Natasha. In the homestead they offer tasty and healthy homemade food. A lot of dishes are made with fresh fish straight from the lake, and also there are many different meat dishes. Local cooks can make at least 33 different dishes with omul!
Here is how a typical menu looks like:
Breakfast: Pancakes with homemade jam, porridge. Cottage cheese or fried eggs, cheese, bread, butter, tea, coffee, milk.
Lunch: Two different soups to choose from, a hot dish (usually with fish) with rice/pasta/vegetables and salad, tea.
Dinner: A hot dish (usually a meat one) with rice/pasta/vegetables, a hot fish dish, salad, bakery, tea.
On the territory of the homestead there are four banyas (two of them are free of charge), which are prepared for use every day. From July till late September the homestead is green and bloomy thanks to the masters' efforts. Guests are welcome to the homestead of the Bencharovs all year round.
