These ancient towns show one of the most prosperous periods of Russian history. There are more than a dozen cities included into the Golden Ring now, although there were only eight cities originally. Vladimir, Suzdal, Yaroslavl, Rostov Velikiy, Sergiyev Posad, among others, will show you the treasures of architecture. You will discover Kremlins, palaces, cathedrals, churches, convents and monasteries. All these masterpieces were built between the 13th and 17th centuries. You will be amazed at such diversity. Your eyes won't be tired of admiring each dome, scrutinizing every detail. The Golden Ring of course will inspire you.
