Barguzinsky Gulf
Barguzinsky Gulf is the largest gulf on Lake Baikal. It entrenches 30 km into the continent and covers about 700 km². Along the shore stretches a huge dune of some hundreds meters wide representing a good location to stay at. On the sand one can see isolated cedars with characteristic flag-shaped crowns telling about the constant direction of winds.
Barguzinsky Gulf is much deeper than Chivyrkuysky Gulf but even here the water heats up to +20-22 Сº. Sandy bottom, warm water, very picturesque landscapes make Barguzinsky Gulf wonderful and unforgettable place for rest.
