The monument to Lenin was put up in 1952 and manufactured according to the project of the well-known sculptor M. Tomsky. The bronze sculpture was produced at the figure-casting factory under the mint in Leningrad (St. Petersburg). The pedestal is decorated with real granite slabs. The monument is situated on the place of a former Lutheran church.
