Planning a family vacation? BaikalNature presents you with a new program, designed specifically for families with children aged over 5 years.
 
You will learn how to make real Siberian dumplings and get acquainted with the peculiarities of the local cuisine, try your own hand at making a traditional Baikal souvenir "Nerpenok" and a tuesok - a container made from birch bark. You will be given an opportunity to see amazing tricks presented by the trained Baikal seals, to do horseback riding, as well as try your luck at fishing.
 
Throughout the itinerary of this journey you will visit the most significant and popular places, like the village of Listvyanka, and make a boat trip to Olkhon - the largest island of the lake Baikal, where you will certainly get familiar with the local way of life.
 
Moderately active and moderately informative - this journey will allow you to enjoy a fun family holiday with a program that's fun for both kids and adults.

    Departure to Irkutsk
    Transfer by 4x4 to the strait Olkhonskye Vorota. Crossing of the strait by ferry. Once we get to the opposite shore, we will take a car or a minibus to continue our way to Irkutsk. The road passes through the taiga, steppes and several Buryat villages.

Excellent séjour. Qualité de l'hébergement spartiate mais correcte. On ne s'inscrit pas à une randonnée si on veut du logement 5*. Accueil sympathique sans flagornerie de l'équipe de mushers. gastronomie simple et énergétique. Logement sympathiquement primitif et frais le matin (on ne traîne pas au lit). Voyage très bien organisé et original (logement et repas chez l'habitant très bien). Confort un peu rudimentaire, mais c'est normal dans cette région et il faut l'accepter. Par contre à Khakoussy il était noté sur le programme toilette et douche à l'étage. De douche il n'y en avait pas, et les toilettes, c'était dehors.
