Tour Overview

This tour will allow you to discover Lake Baikal in summer as well as in winter. You will be able to explore charming village of Listvyanka at your pace, visit the Baikal museum, take a walk along the shore... You will spend a night in a home of locals on the lake shore.

Tour programme
  • Day 1
    Leave for Listvyanka by scheduled bus from the bus station of Irkutsk. Homestay accommodation. Discovery of Lake Baikal. Possibility to visit the Baikal museum. Discovery of local port with its typical saleswomen of omul. Tasting of smoked omul, endemic fish of the lake (an extra cost).
  • Day 2
    Walk along the Baikal shore northwards, the distance depending on your wish. Return to Irkutsk in the end of the day by scheduled bus. Arrival to the bus station of Irkutsk. End of the programme.
