Tour Overview:

Nerpa is the only freshwater seal in the world. It occupies the whole lake basin, but especially its northern and central parts. This exceptional journey will allow you to observe these rare animals in their natural habitat on the islands of the Ushkany Archipelago. Departing from Ust-Barguzin by fish-boat early in the morning, we will reach the land of nerpas and will devote several hours to observe their habits.

Tour Programme:

Day 1

Crossing of Lake Baikal by boat towards the Ushkany Islands. Seal observation. Picnic lunch on the islands. Return to Ust-Barguzin in the evening.
