This trip itinerary is between the village of Listvyanka and Chyernaya valley. Driving your harness of Kamchatka huskys you will cross snowy taiga to Chyernaya valley ("Dark" valley), called so because of dense forest, where there is our welcoming wooden homestead. We will return by the frozen lake or the forest – depending on season.

This trip is a unique opportunity to make the dogsledging in all the region of Baikal and Irkutsk. You will like contrast between Listvyanka, pretty civilized and accessible village and the warm homestead lost in the middle of a real taiga, called "dark" ...

Day 1 Morning departure to Listvyanka. Visit to the Baikal museum. Aquarium with fresh water seals. Meeting with dogs, grip of the sledge. The advices on the handling of the sledge. Starting out by dogs’ sledges. The road passes through the taiga to Chyernaya valley (more northely from Listvyanka). Lunch on the way outdoors. Arrival to the home-stay located in a few hundred meters of the lakeside. Rest, banya (Russian sauna).

Day 2 Walk to the shore of Lake Baikal. Depending on season: return to Listvyanka by the lake or taiga (by dog sledges). Lunch on the way in the open air. Arrival in Listvyanka. Return to Irkutsk at about 6 p.m. Transfer to the hotel or to the station. End of the programme.
