This trekking starts in Listvyanka and takes 6 - 8 hours depending on pace. The path is along-shore - you will pass cliffs, beach, forest. To save enough forces for hiking, we will pass the first day quietly discovering the village of Listvyanka.

This trekking is not advisable for people who have susceptibility to vertigo.

In Bolshiye Koty we will discover a small welcoming Baikal museum, will climb the mountain to meditate admiring the panorama of the lake, we will walk in taiga to find the old gold dredges and finally, if not tired, we will climb Skriper Cape to enjoy a breathtaking view... In the village we will stay at locals'. We will return to city by hydrofoil "Raketa" or by fishing boat depending on a season.

Day 1 Transfer to the port of Irkutsk at about 9 a.m. (or to the bus station - depending on a season). Morning departure to Listvyanka by hydrofoil (or by bus - depending on a season). Accommodation at the homestead. Visit to the village. Port of the village and typical saleswomen of omul. If you like - tasting of smoked omul (endemic fish of the lake). Buying souvenirs sold near smokinghouses. Lunch at the restaurant facing the lake. Visit to the Baikal museum, aquarium with seals of the lake. Ascending Chersky Rock to admire the panorama of the lake and the Angara-river.

Day 2 Start of trekking. The first kilometers are done through taiga, then the path is again along the shore. Lunch on the way: omul, sandwiches and tea. Arrival in the village. Overnight home-stay. Having a rest ! Dinner, traditional kitchen.

Day 3 Way towards Skriper Cape in the north direction (three hours of walk), the ascent to the cape is tiresome enough. Return to the village. Lunch with locals. Visit to the surroundings. Visit to the local museum devoted to Lake Baikal. Ascent to mountain to admire a great panorama. In the afternoon return to Irkutsk by hydrofoil (or by fishing boat to Listvyanka then by bus to Irkutsk - it depends on a season). Arrival in Irkutsk at about 7 p.m. Transfer to the hotel or to the station. End of the programme.
