Historical Museum of Military Artillery

The building of this museum is located inside the Kronverk. This fortification system including the Peter and Paul fortress, protected the city against possible attacks. The rich collection of the museum is made of weapons coming from Russia as well as fifty-four other countries. The museum covers a period from the 14th century to the present day. Its collection is made of military trophies, kalashnikovs, rocket launcher, missiles, tanks, etc. All together over eight hundred and fifty thousand items are displayed inside and outside the museum.
