Pushkin House
Created in 1905, the Russian Literature Institute of Saint Petersburg is more commonly known as ”Pushkin House”. Since 1927 it is hosted in the former building of the city customs built in 1832.
The museum of the institute enables to see items from Alexander Onegin's collection. They were kept in his museum dedicated to Alexander Pushkin (1799-1837) in Paris. Other than the poet, it allows to get an insight into the life and works of great Russian classical writers from the 18th to the 20th century.
