Art Gallery

The Perm State Art Gallery is one of the largest museums of the Ural region. It was opened in 1922 in the building of the Transfiguration of Our Saviour Cathedral which is itself a monument of architecture. The collection of the art gallery contains nearly 43 thousand objects of art belonging to different styles and schools of Russian and foreign art of the XV-ХХ centuries, including collections of antique objects and works of art of ancient Egypt, Japan, India and China.
