Building of Former City Duma
The building of former City Duma was erected in the first quarter of the XIX c. At present it houses a permanent exposition "Museum and Nature" telling about the diversity of flora and fauna in the Tyumen region. One of the principal treasures of the exposition is the paleontological collection comprising complete skeletons of the mammoth, prehistoric bison and woolly rhinoceros. The entomological collection that has more than 10 thousand specimens of insects is the largest one in the region. The building of former City Duma houses two exhibit halls which regularly host expositions of many central Russian museums.
