Monument to A. Vampilov

The bronze statue of the outstanding Siberian playwright Alexander Vampilov is put up in the square near the Irkutsk Drama Theatre where his plays are often staged. This monument was created by the Moscow sculptor Mikhail Pereyaslavets on private donations of Irkutsk residents. The inauguration of the monument took place in 2003.
