Three Brothers Rock

This is the name given to the three rocks that protect the Avacha Bay from the Ocean’s waves. According to the legend, at the time when the first colonies on the coast a terrible storm raged against the bay. The waves were so huge that the town was threatened to be taken away. That’s when three brothers decided to save their hometown. They walked into the sea and farther so the water was chest-high and there they formed an insurmountable obstacle for the waves. The storm did not stop for several days and night and the brothers became fossilized and turned into the three rocks that still now defend the bay and the city.
