Ulan-Nur cape

Ulan-Nur cape is famous for rare minerals agglomeration, which can very seldom can be met together in one place in nature. There are numerous trenches and canals which are well seen on the little Ular-Nur area. Moreover, there is rare different coloring of the crystalline minerals found here. There were precious and semi-precious crystals of blue diopside, sapphire, zircon, ruby and colorful spinel. The slopes of the cape have numerous remains of bore pit, which were left by annual student geological expeditions.
