Bolshaya Baidinskaya cave

Bolshaya Baidinskaya cave looks like irregular triangle. Its length is 12 meters, at the entrance its width is 1 meter and inside - 7 meters, its height varies from 1.5 to 2.5 meters. The trail to the cave from Kutul ulus goes along wood less plateau among funny-shaped rocks, which are being decayed by weathering. Bolshaya Baidinskaya cave is located at the height of more than 200 meters above the sea-level. The entrance to the cave is blocked by huge stone lumps, that's why one may get inside the cave only on hands and knees. Remote walls are covered with ice crystals. At some places there are beautiful snow garlands, which create a special charm. In depth of the cave there is constant thick layer of ice. In occupation layer of the cave under a layer of crushed rock and soil there were remains of early iron age culture : arrowheads, whetstones, knives, bone awls, ceramic dishes, pieces of birch bark. Sheep baguettes with carved old-turk signs which were found in the cave are of a great scientific interest.
