Guitara lake

Mountain lake Guitara (Guitar)with crystal-clear water is called this way because of its outline which reminds of the musical instrument. The lake is located on the border of the forest. From the lake there is a magnificent view to Nitka and Bolshoy waterfalls. Guitara lake finishes the chain of small lakes, which fills the hollows in the valley made by glacier tongue. The color of the lake changes depending on weather from dark blue to gray. Through crystal water one may see sand-gravel bottom which steeply comes down. The height of the lake is 1240,6 meters above sea-level. There are two types of fish that live in the lake - endemic galian and Karlikoviy Kharius (dwarfish grayling).
