Waterfalls of Podkomarnaya River

Slyudyanka river is rich with cascades and waterfalls. It runs from the river source through the narrow valley to Khamar-Daban weather station (1430m). Each waterfall has its unique shape and they all fit marvelously into the landscapes of the mountain river. There are several observation places on the trail, where one may enjoy beautiful views to Podkomarnaya river valley. The river forms several waterfalls on its way - the lowest, central and the upper. The most impressive is the central waterfall, which has a height of 25 meters. The total height of the triple waterfall is about 80 meters. The lowest part of the waterfall is a kingdom of eternal dampness - all canyon is filled with tiny water splashes.
