Losinoye lake

Losinoye (Moose) lake is a moraine lake of triangular shape covering an area of 2 sq-km and with a picturesque winterhouse on its shore. The upper water level gets warm in summer time. There is no fish in Losinoye lake, but it was chosen as nesting site by grebes. The lake is located at a height of 600 meters above sea level and is connected with Baikal by a stream.
