Alexander Garden
Alexander Garden is the main and one of the oldest parks in Kirov. It is considered as one of the best landscape work in Russia's province.
The garden was created in the fall of 1825 after a visit of Emperor Alexander I in Viatka (now Kirov). The garden was officially unveiled only on August 30, 1835.
The garden's structure includes an entrance porch, a cast-iron fence erected in 1838-1840 by architect Vitberg and a central pavilion and rotunda located on the bank, built in 1835 by architect Timofeev.
