Savitsky Painting Gallery

The Painting Gallery is one of the oldest and most popular museums in Penza. It was created in 1892. The museum contains over 12 thousand paintings from Italian, French, Dutch and Russian artists (Repin, Shishkin, Vasily Surikov, Levitin, Broubel, etc). In addition to the permanent display, the museum receives many contemporary art exhibitions and some musical events.
