Ovalnaya Zimina Volcano

Ovalnaya Zimina volcano belongs to Klyuchevskoy Volcano group in the eastern range. It is located in Klyuchevskoy Volcano Nature Park included in the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List. It is part of the Zinima massif that includes volcanoes Ostraya Zimina and Gorny Zub. A small caldera is at the top of this extinct stratovolcano reaching a height of 3,081 meters. Its last eruption dates back to 2,000-2,500 years.
