Starichkov Island

Starichkov Island (old people island) is located in the Pacific Ocean. It is a small island: about 0.5 sq-meters. It rises North West 147.5 meters above sea level. Surrounded by steep cliffs, its top is covered by alder groves, and its slopes are covered with grass. Eleven sea bird species live on Starichkov Island in 44 colonies. The reefs around the island are the home of dotted seals as well as another rare seal species: Phoca vitulina stejnegeri. In the sea one can find killer whales and dolphins.
