Central House of Artists

Created in 1979, the Central House of Artists (CHA) has an exhibition area of 10,000 sq-meters divided into 27 halls. It hosts 60 art galleries and artistic organizations. Each year close to a million people come to visit the three hundred exhibitions set up by CHA and admire work of artists from Russia, from CIS countries as well as Baltic countries. With a collection gathering a total of forty-six thousand art items, it often takes part in international exhibitions. Many cultural and artistic events are organized by the CHA such as meetings, concerts, festivals, fairs, etc.
