The State Literature Museum

This museum consists of twelve subsidiaries spread in and around the city of Moscow. The main building is located on the land of the Vyssoko-Petrovsky Monastery, in the Naryshkin hall. The museum’s collections are made of unique books, manuscripts, drawings from famous writers, paintings, rare pictures and other documents linked to the history of Russian classic and modern literature. The collection has now gathered over a million items.
