Museum of the Great Patriotic War

The museum indicates the beginning of the Victory Park located on the Poklonnaya hill. They were both launched on May 9th 1995 for the fiftieth anniversary of the armistice. This museum recounts the history of World War II (1941-1945 in Russia) through a diorama, a great collection containing military and artistic items. Military equipment is also displayed in an open-air area. Besides it contains a scientific library and has an informatics system that helps find information about soldiers who died in battle.
