Glinka Museum of Musical Culture

This museum created in 1985 was named after Russia composer Mikhail Glinka, founder of Russian modern musical school. It keeps and studies rare and precious items such as musical manuscripts, printed musical scores, ancient music instruments from different times and places, paintings, sculptures… Glinka Museum of Musical Culture is a major museum, it is the number one among all music related museums in Russia.
