Alexander Scriabin Museum
This museum is located in the house where Russian composer-pianist-poet Alxander Scriabin (1872-1915) lived from 1912 to his death. The mansion was a recognized cultural place where philosophers, artists, writers and poets used to meet.
Created in 1922, this museum, showing the life and work of Alexander Scriabin, stands as an important witness of the “Silver Century”, an eminent period in Russian culture in the late 19th – early 20th century. The museum keeps the artist’s furniture, library, piano, his art works as well as personal effects.
