Pushkin Museum-Reserve in Bolshye Viaziomy
Zakharova and Bolshye Viaziomy are two villages right outside of Moscow that are linked with Alexander Pushkin’s childhood. The Great Russian poet lived the first years of his life in two estates that belonged to his grand-mother.
The Museum-Reserve in Bolshye Viaziomy consists of a palace from the 18th century, a few farms from the same time, the Transfiguration Church as well as a bell tower (16th cenruty), a parc and munuments erected in honor of the Pushkin.
