Museum of the Russian Imperial Family
Created in 1994, it is located in the Izmailovo museum.
The museum tells the story of the whole Romanov family. However a big part is dedicated to the first Romanov: Peter the Great. Alexander III’s reforms are mentioned as well as the role of the Imperial family in the First World War.
The museum also relates the history of Russia, Moscow and the Izmailovo imperial estate and commemorates the three hundred years of the Russian fleet.
