National Museum of Russia's political history
This museum succeeds to the National Museum of the Revolution founded in 1919. It is separated into two sites: the Art Nouveau style mansion of ballerina Mathilde Kschesinska and Vasily Brant's private house mixing neoclassical and Art Nouveau style. The two places built in the early 20th century are close to one another.
Visiting the museum makes people realize all the economical, political and cultural modifications that affected the country from the 19th century to the present day. It also allows an insight into Imperial, Soviet and Contemporary Russia.
