Bread Museum

Founded in 1988, this museum, the only one in Russia, is the thirteenth of the kind in the world. It is entirely dedicated to the most precious food to Man: bread. Through its collection of over ten thousand items, the museum tells the history of bread, the various ways to make it and cook it. A small Saint Petersburg bakery has been reconstituted . The visitors can also see paintings, items and books that are related to the culinary arts.
