Anna Yelizavora Museum-Apartment

Anna Yelizarova (1864-1935) was the sister of Vladimir Yliych Ulianov, more commonly known as Lenin. After taking part in the preparation of the February 1917 Revolution, she became a member of the authority leading the Soviet Union's Communist Party. She lived in this four room apartment with her mother, her husband and adopted son. From April 1917, her brother back from exile along with his wife lived in the apartment for three months. This museum enables an insight into the events of the beginning of the bolshevik revolution. During his stay Lenin wrote several speeches and manifestos and received, among others, Josef Stalin in this apartment.
