Dostoyevsky Museum-Apartment

Fyodor Dostoyevsky lived in this apartment with his wife and daughter from October 1878. Born in 1821, he died there on January 28, 1881. Unveiled in 1971, this museum allows an insight into the privacy and the last days of the writer. His work is of course also mentioned through many archive documents. Film projections as well as literary and musical evenings are regularly organized. Moreover, each year an international event takes place there, called ”Dostoyevsky and the world culture”.
