Sigmund Freud Museum of Dreams

The Museum of Dreams is located in a private house of the 19th century. It belongs to the European Institute of Psychoanalysis. This unusual museum was created in 1999, which matched the one hundred years of the publication of ”The interpretation of Dreams”. In the museum the visitor becomes part of the collection. He is invited to enter two rooms: the dark one and the light one. They symbolize the ”conscious-preconscious” and the ”preconscious-unconscious”. This unusual place is also a cultural, education and research center. It organizes many events including conferences, movie projections and exhibitions.
