Chita Region Drama Theatre

The Chita Region Drama Theatre began work in 1939. Talented actors and stage directors worked there. Many of them further on had a great influence on Russian theatrical art. During the recent years romantic plays filled with the pathos of love, remembrance and duty have become the "trademark" of the theatre. The theatre took part in numerous international and interregional festivals in different cities of Russia and was often laureate of national and international contests and festivals.
