Gorky Drama Theatre

The Gorky Academic Drama Theatre is one of the oldest theatres in Russia. It was founded in 1798. The building of the theatre, one of the most beautiful in the main street, was built in 1896 and designed by chief architect of imperial theatre: V. A. Chreter. The theatre hall can welcome 705 spectators.
