Vladivostok Fortress Museum

Vladivostock Fortress is the only defensive military monument left of the Russian fortification. Between 1910 and 1914 the construction of this fortress was fast-forwarded because of the tensions between Russia and Japan. In 1916 the fortress contained a whole system of defensive buildings (about 130) and a well-developed infrastructure which could enable it to hold a siege.
