Saint Sophia Bell tower

The Bell tower of Saint Sophia is a wall with five bay windows. It was mentioned for the first time in the fifteenth century. This kind of construction was invented under archpriest Euthyme II of Novgorod and was only used twice in Russia. Now near the bell tower 5 monumental bells were added. The building in itself offers a beautiful panorama on the architectural complex Yaroslavovo Dvorische and the surrounding city.
