Khokhlov Paleontological Museum

The paleontological museum is located in the main building of Tomsk State University. It was founded in 1926 by professor V. A. Khokhlov. It displays collections of fossils from Russia, Europe and North America. Tomsk University started acquiring many items after the creation of the museum. Among them one can find skeletons of Mammoths, bisons, dinosaurs as well as skulls, teeth and vertebrae from ancient mammals.
