Monument to Zhukov

The monument to marshal Georgy Zhukov was unveiled on May 8, 2005. The monument was erected for the 60th anniversary of the victory of World War II by popular demand of Irkutsk veterans. It took four years to create this monument. It was casted from bronze by Alexander Mironov, a sculptor from Ulan-Ude.
