Cave on Sagan-Zaba cliff

The cave is located at the top of Sagan-Zaba cliff and has narrow entrance. At a depth of 10 meters the cave has a vast dark hall, from there horizontal passages start to the sides. One of the widest halls ends with a deep hole which becomes wider at the bottom. More than 50 years ago local people found remains of iron age culture at the bottom of the cave. One Byryat legend says that many years ago Chinese people hid gold somewhere there, which they transported across Baikal Lake by camels.
