Waterfalls on the Podkomarnaya river

Slyudyanka river is rich with cascades and waterfalls. It runs from the river source through the narrow valley to Khamar-Daban weather station (1430m). Each waterfall has a unique shape and they all fit marvelously into the landscapes of the mountain river. There are several observation places on the trail, where one may enjoy magnificent views to Podkomarnaya river valley. The river forms several cascades of waterfalls on its way - the lowest, central and the upper. The most impressive is the central waterfall, which has a height of 25 meters. The total height of triple fall is about 80 meters. The lowest part of cascade is a kingdom of eternal dampness, the whole canyon is filled with tiny water splashes.
