Shumaksky waterfall

To visit Shumaksky valley and not to see Shumakskiy waterfall means to deprive oneself of the most beautiful sight of this place. Shumakskiy waterfall is considered as one of the most picturesque places of this part of Sayan mountains. The river canyon is divided into two waterfalls that drop on 30 meters. At the bottom it causes a great number of splashes and it has been wearing away the orange-red stone for a long time. This makes the walls of the canyon move apart to the sides, making a deep bowl at the bottom of the canyon.
