Kobalenko Museum of Fine Arts

The Museum of Fine Arts in Krasnodar is one of the oldest museums in North Caucasus. It was named after local merchant and patron Theodore Akimovich Kovalenko who in 1904 donated his private collection to the city of Kuban. The museum is located in two buildings: the house of engineer B. Shardanova (architectural monument of the 19th century) and the former building of the State Bank of Ekaterinodar (architectural monument of the late 19th century-early 20th century).
