Puppets Theatre

The Puppets Theatre was founded in Oryol at the high point of World War II after the liberation of the city from fascist troops. During its first years the theater did not have its own building but the actors performed in front of the wounded people. All together the theatre put up 250 shows based on Russian tales and legends of the whole world. They also completed many tours in Russia and abroad.
