Regional Museum

Orenburg Regional Museum is one the oldest museums of the city. It was founded in 1831 by Earl P.P. Sukhtelene and is hosted in the mansion of merchant Enikutsev listed as a historical monument. The museum allows visitors to discover the history and culture of the region of Orenburg. Its collections (about 90 thousand items) display national costumes of native peoples, samples of woven and embroidered items, manuscripts as well as old music instruments.
