Ichinsky Volcano

Ichinsky belongs to the volcanic group of the same name made up of 12 volcanoes 80km away from the village of Esso. This stratovolcano is the only active one in the central volcanic range. It is located on the territory of Bystrinski Nature Park included in the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List. Reaching a height of 3,621m, it is the second highest active volcano in Kamchatka. Its last eruption took place 300/400 hundred years ago.
