Ksudach Volcano

Ksudach Volcano does not belong to any volcanic group of the eastern range. It is part of South Kamchatka Nature Park included in the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List. Ksudach is an active stratovolcano located in a 9km wide caldera. In the northern part of the caldera rises a 70 meters high young active cone called “Shtyubel”. The volcano itself towers at an altitude of 1,079m. Its last eruption dates back to 1907.
